BAKERY
and CONFECTIONERY This
course was started in SNDT College of Home Science in 1991.
Apart from English, Hindi, General Foundation Course ( Sec
I – Environmental Science, Sec II – entrepreneurship
development) we offer Food Science and Technology, Basic
Bakery Technology and Basic Confectionery in first year and
Advanced Bakery Technology, Advanced Confectionery and Food
Costing and Financial Accountancy in second year.
Minimum Competency Vocational Courses emphasise on practical
work to develop high level of skills. We also develop self
confidence. We provide
well qualified and experienced teaching faculty. All bakery products
like bread, pizza base, pav – bhaji buns, burgers, hot dogs, bread
sticks, butter, doughnuts, Danish pastry, Flaky pastry, different types
of biscuits and cookies are taught. Birthday cake, different types of
icings, glace butter truffle, fresh cream chocolate etc are also taught.
During academic year visits are arranged to expose the students to watch
and see functioning of various commercial bakeries to know different
types of machineries , new equipments, new production methods. For commercial
training our students are sent to various commercial bakeries and hotel
industry during the course.

ELECTRIONICS
TECHNOLOGY
Electronics Technology is offered for the students of Minimum
Competency Vocational Course. In this course, 6 areas are
taught at XI & XII standard level. These subjects are
fully practical oriented to enable the girl students to stand
on their own feet and become entrepreneurs.

Crèche
and Preschool Management Course under Paramedical group.
This was started by Government of Maharashtra

+ 2 level. When the students complete this course after 12th

of six month to eight years.
